Tips for cleaning Curtains

• Shake your curtains gently to remove as much dust as possible. You can also vacuum them on a regular basis, to keep them clean and dust free.
• Lint brush works very well to wipe your curtains with.  Make sure to start from the top and work your way down. This is because; to avoid dust from upper part fall down and make you clean twice.
• While cleaning the curtains, don’t forget to wash your rod and curtains rings as well. (If your curtain rings are becoming rusty, I have heard boiling them in water and vinegar will remove the rust). Make sure to dry them well before hanging!
• I personally am not so much for using any freshener spray on my curtains. But If you do use any spray please be sure that the chemicals inside is not harsh on your curtains, as it might weaken or even discolor the fabric.
• It is always a good Idea to dry clean your custom made curtains to avoid damage and staining.
